Draft: the operator's legal details are still to be published. Until then this text is provisional and may change.

In short

  • CubicBuilds is for making Minecraft builds. Use it for that.
  • Nothing illegal, hateful, sexual or infringing, and nothing that targets real people.
  • Do not try to break, overload or get around the Service, its limits or its AI.
  • We act on reports and on signs of abuse: we can stop a request, remove content or close an account, and we tell you why.

This summary does not replace the full text.

01Who and what this covers

This policy applies to everyone who uses CubicBuilds and to everything put into it or made with it: prompts, files, references, project names and the builds themselves. It is part of the Terms.

02What you may not create or upload

  • Anything illegal where you are or where we operate, or that helps someone break the law.
  • Sexual content involving minors, in any form. We report it to the authorities and close the account.
  • Sexually explicit or pornographic content.
  • Hate and harassment: content that attacks or demeans people for who they are, hate symbols, threats, bullying, or content that glorifies violence, terrorism or self-harm.
  • Content that infringes someone else's rights: copying a map, schematic, build, brand or character you have no right to use, or uploading files you obtained without permission.
  • Personal data about other people, or anything meant to expose, track or impersonate a real person, including builds of their likeness without their consent.
  • Deception: content presented as official Minecraft, Mojang or Microsoft material, or made to mislead people about who made it.
  • Malicious files, or files designed to exploit the tools that open them.

03Rules for the AI

Builds are generated by AI models from Anthropic, whose Usage Policy also applies to what you ask for. You may not:

  • Try to get around the AI's safeguards, or to make it reveal its instructions or its internal workings.
  • Use the AI for anything other than designing and editing builds, for example as a general-purpose chatbot or as a way to resell access to the model.
  • Use the Service or its results to build a competing product or to train AI models.

04Protecting the Service

  • Do not probe, scan or test the Service for weaknesses without our written permission, and do not try to reach data that is not yours.
  • Do not get around limits, credits, plans or the free trial, for example by creating several accounts.
  • Do not use bots, scrapers or other automated means to use the Service, unless we offer an interface for it.
  • Do not share your account, and do not resell, rent or sublicense access to the Service.
  • Do not overload the Service or interfere with other customers' use of it.
  • Do not copy, decompile or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law gives you that right.

If you find a security problem, tell us at [email protected] before telling anyone else. We welcome reports made in good faith and do not take action against the people who make them this way.

05Minecraft's rules

What you build ends up in Minecraft, so Mojang's rules apply to it: the Minecraft EULA and its Usage Guidelines. In particular, do not present your builds or your server as official, and do not sell or redistribute Mojang's game files or assets.

06How we apply these rules

We do not review everything that is made with CubicBuilds. We act when something is reported to us and when there are signs of abuse. Today we run no automatic filter of our own on prompts, images or builds: the AI model may decline a request by itself, and every decision about content or accounts is taken by a person on our team.

Depending on how serious it is and on whether it is repeated, we may:

  • Stop a request or refuse to generate something.
  • Remove or disable content.
  • Limit features, or suspend or close the account or the organization.
  • Report it to the authorities, when the law requires it or when someone is at risk.

When we restrict your content or your account we tell you by email what we did and why, unless the law prevents us. If you think we got it wrong, reply to that email or write to [email protected] within six months: a person will review the decision. Accounts that infringe other people's rights repeatedly are closed.

07Reporting a problem

To report content or behaviour that breaks these rules, write to [email protected]. Copyright and reports explains what to include.
