Draft: the operator's legal details are still to be published. Until then this text is provisional and may change.

In short

  • Report illegal content or an infringement of your rights to [email protected].
  • Tell us what it is, where it is and why, and how to reach you.
  • A person reviews every report, and both sides are told the outcome.
  • If one of your builds appears in our gallery or marketing and you want it removed, write to [email protected].

This summary does not replace the full text.

01Reporting illegal content

Anyone can report content on CubicBuilds that they consider illegal or against our Acceptable Use Policy. Write to [email protected] and include:

  • Why you consider the content illegal or against our rules.
  • Where it is: the exact address of the page, or enough detail for us to find it.
  • Your name and an email address where we can answer. They are not needed to report content involving the sexual abuse of minors.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that what you report is accurate and complete.

We confirm that we received it, a person reviews it, and we tell you what we decided and what you can do if you disagree. If we act against someone's content, we tell them too, with the reasons.

02Copyright and other intellectual property

If you believe that something on CubicBuilds infringes your copyright or another right you own, send a notice to [email protected] with:

  • Your name, address, telephone number and email address, or those of the person you act for.
  • The work or the right that you say is infringed.
  • The material that you say infringes it and where it is, precisely enough for us to find it.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
  • Your signature, physical or electronic.

03If your content was removed

If we removed or disabled your content after a notice and you believe it was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to [email protected] with:

  • Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  • The content that was removed and where it was.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith that it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you accept the jurisdiction of the courts of the place where you live, or of any place where we can be found if you live outside the United States, and that you will accept legal notices from the person who sent the original notice.
  • Your signature, physical or electronic.

We pass the counter-notice to the person who complained. If they do not tell us within 14 business days that they have gone to court, we may restore the content.

04Repeat infringers and false reports

  • We close the accounts of people who infringe others' rights repeatedly.
  • Sending a notice or a counter-notice that you know to be false can make you liable for the damage it causes. If the reports of one person are plainly unfounded again and again, we may stop processing them for a time.

05Your build in our gallery

If one of your builds appears in our gallery, on our website or in our marketing and you want it taken down, write to [email protected]: no reason is needed. The Terms explain how the showcase works.
